Would recommend you get preschool level for the good and the beautiful. It ties in beautifully with kindergarten prep. Kindergarten prep focuses more on blending letters and vowels. Preschool prep ends with some of that but started with letter phonics.

Him and his little kicks are the absolute cutest!!! I fell in love when he was trying to snack on the blanket So cute!

I know you’re not asking for advice, but Accelerated Christian Education(A.C.E.) is an INCREDIBLE curriculum for higher middle-high school!! INCREDIBLE. I’m not even sure if it’s available in Canada, but that’s what I did growing up.

What supplements do you give your kids? I’ve been trying to find good ones that I could put in my kids drinks. Thank you for sharing your beautiful videos and kind heart.💜

I was in the same sort of life situation with a newborn and starting homeschool with two kids. I really really loved it. I also had a fifth grader and same thing the good and beautiful was so well done and my daughter tested in a private school for middle school and said it was all familiar stuff in the test and she did great! I’m so happy this year went well for you. I would totally recommend good and beautiful for a mom with a newborn and multiples.

I just started using them this week. What I don’t like so far is how bulky they get and how my baby now can’t barely put her legs together. Is that a big deal or am I making a big deal?😅

I love The Good and Beautiful and used it for a few years when it was new! Best curriculum in my opinion of teaching homeschooling for 11 years to my older kids.

You inspired me to buy a fixer upper a year after you bought this house. I was also naive thinking we will be done renos fast, it's been 3 years, we are still working on it but made huge progress and absolutely love our home. I loved this update, looks great 👍

As a Swede i find homeschooling to be so interesting because it is a foreign concept here because it is illegal. All kids are obligated to go to public or private school. I've always wondered how homeschooled kids will learn about the world from a perspective that is not curated out of the biases of the parents? To me it is so important that you learn about and meet people that are different from you and have differing opinions, cultures and religions to be a well rounded adult. I do like that with homeschooling the kids have a more personalised learning which is helpful. Do they still need to take government mandated tests to make sure they are on track?

A little Canadian teacher encouragement - I would not sweat the preschool experience you had with Theo ! It is great that he got some exposure to the Alphabet . He is likely more aware of letters than many 4 year olds . So many countries start formal schooling at 7 and the research says that works very well. It sounds like your confidence is growing this area . I think you are doing very well!

We start homeschool pre-school with my oldest this fall. I’m so nervous!!! Thank you for your honesty with what worked and didn’t work. It’s always encouraging to see someone else who doesn’t quite have it all figured out but it all works out in the end.

How do you make your kids do quiet time or get them to clean the toy room? My 2,5yo just says ‘no’ or ignores me. I feel like I am failing so bad at motherhood…

Logic of English Delilah! For langue arts it’s super super helpful for me. I have 4 and 3 are school age. Levels k 2 4 and I can use the essentials for all three boys!

Ughhh all of this...such a good video

We use prefolds - and snappies to hold them in place - with the Osocozy brand covers. Its honestly so easy and blowouts/leaks are few and far between. We rinse with a handheld bidet attachment and a diaper pale with a hole in the bottom placed over the toilet as a rinse shield. Then wash every day/every other day at most with dreft baby detergent. Havent had any issues yet but only been doing it like 3 ish weeks. First week and a half was dispoable until her belly button fell off, for sanitary reasons. None of her prefolds have started to smell, when she soils them we just keep them in an open mesh laundry basket that has a plastic liner at the bottom - dont know how else to describe that... it was foldable and we found it at walmart. We make sure to always rinse them off every night before we go to bed if they have any dookie in em. Thats what we have found works for us so far. Also have not had any rashes yet but like i said only 3 plus weeks in.

So glad you posted this! I’ve been looking for a good preschool curriculum for my daughter and I think All About Homeschool is going to be a good fit for her. PS my oldest daughter wasn’t loving 100 easy lessons so we switched to Good and Beautiful (K) when we were on lesson 50. Such an easy transition!

Um…. No judgement here?. It is ironic that so many people who make their living using the “screen” limit its use in real life??? How is that judgmental? I think it’s a great idea? Perhaps I am not the one being judgmental?

Can you please do a video about how you handle picky eaters or getting your kids to eat? You make such lovely well rounded meals and I’d love to have some tips on getting little ones to eat!

I’m totally the same way with homeschooling! Those casual things just doooo notttt get done. I need things in a book with instructions that don’t require a bunch of supplies. I love the idea of those but it’s not my method of teaching either I’ve learned!
